Armenia attaches great importance to friendly relations with Portugal based on mutual respect and trust. This is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan addressed to the President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa on the occasion of the national holiday - Portugal Day.

I am confident that the successful political dialogue between our countries will contribute to further deepening and strengthening of Armenian-Portuguese ties and multi-sector cooperation for the benefit of our peoples,” the message reads.
