Store shelves in Stepanakert are empty, here even bread and grain cannot be found. Bread is sold only in bakeries. Sugar, hygiene items, confectionery are in short supply. People eat what they stocked up in advance, hetq.am reports.

"Today is the 221st day of the blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan. As a result of the establishment of a checkpoint by Azerbaijan on the Lachin corridor, the communication between Artsakh and Armenia was interrupted. Azerbaijan does not even allow the Red Cross to deliver humanitarian aid to Artsakh and transport patients.

34-year-old Anna Sargsyan, is a single mother. She has an 11-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son, so she cannot work. The young mother was able to buy some goods thanks to child benefits.

According to Anna, it has become very difficult to buy bread, sometimes you have to stand in line for more than an hour," the media outlet writes.
