Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, who is on a working visit to Italy, met with UN Secretary General António Guterres within the framework of the UN Food Systems Summit. This was reported to Armenian News-NEWS.am by the Press Service of the President.
During the meeting, President Khachaturyan presented to the Secretary General the threat of a humanitarian crisis that arose in [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan's blockade of the [Berdzor] Lachin Corridor.
The interlocutors also discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, as well as exchanged views on the issues on the agenda of continuous cooperation between the UN and Armenia.
