DUBLIN. – Armenian News-NEWS.am presents video of the goals by Armenian Mkhitaryan and Irish Dunne.

Armenian Henrik Mkhitaryan scored the goal at 62nd minute in EURO 2012 qualifier against Ireland in Dublin Arena Tuesday.

Earlier Irish Richard Dunne scored the goal at 59th minute. Armenian Valeri Aleksanyan scored an own goal at 43rd minute.

Armenian goalkeeper Roman Berezovski was shown the red card and dismissed on 26th minute of the game.

Presently with 17 points, Armenia is third, one point behind Ireland. The Armenian national squad needs nothing but a victory against Ireland to clinch second place in Group B and to secure a spot in the EURO 2012 playoffs.

Ahead of the match the coach of the Armenian team Vardan Minasyan said that the team «will play to win.”

“Before this qualifying campaign began we never set the goal of reaching the European Championships. It was more important for us to build a strong team with a bright future. We are doing it our way, calmly and confidently. Yet, if we are to complete the building of this team, we need victory in Dublin,” UEFA website quotes Minasyan.
