Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh; NK)] President Arayik Harutyunyan informed yesterday at the meeting of the Artsakh Security Council that a decision was made to conduct trade via the Aghdam road [of Azerbaijan]. He did not elaborate on who made it [i.e. the decision] and where. (…).

Now the President of Artsakh does not put the matter under discussion, but presents it as a reality. (…). Arayik Harutyunyan informed that the trade will be "partial" via that road, construction materials, diesel [fuel], medicine will enter [Artsakh] from there, and food will be imported via [the] Lachin [corridor] by way of the Russian peacekeepers, but this does not mean that the Lachin road will be fully operational; the movement of Artsakh residents [through it] will be limited.

Harutyunyan informed that it is planned to discuss the issue of [natural] gas and electricity [supply to Artsakh] at the next phase, which they will receive also from Azerbaijan. He presented that Azerbaijan thus allegedly is making concessions and in return demands that the Aghdam-Askeran-Stepanakert-Shushi road be operated. It is about the bypass road well-known in Artsakh, which passes from under the grandma-grandpa statue [in Artsakh]. They decided that they will meet again in the near future to organize these matters.
