Statements by Armenian politicians that Moscow “gave” [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh to Azerbaijan are incorrect, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference following the G20 summit.
“Some [political] figure there, in my opinion, the head of the parliament [of Armenia - TASS notes] allowed himself to express the idea that Russia gave Karabakh to Azerbaijan. It’s hard to imagine a more incorrect and dishonest statement,” Lavrov said, answering a question from TASS.
