The clashes between the police and the citizens demanding the resignation of the prime minister near the government building in Yerevan have left 34 people were injured, 16 of whom are policemen and 18 are civilians, Armenia’s Ministry of Health reported.

According to the ministry, 16 people continue to receive treatment equivalent to minor bodily injuries, and one has been operated on.

The protests began after Azerbaijan started large-scale operations in Nagorno-Karabakh that has killed dozens and wound more than 200 people.
