
European Union’s foreign policy officer Josep Borrell met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan within the framework of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Two senior diplomats discussed the future of relations between the EU and Turkey.
“Opportunity to exchange with Foreign Minister HakanFidan at the UN today. We spoke about next steps in EU-Turkey relations, ahead of the report I will present with EU Commission to the European Council. We also discussed the highly concerning situation in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Borell wrote on his X (former Twitter) microblog.
