This government is an accomplice of the genocide perpetrated in Nagorno-Karabakh, they are always ready to shed Armenian blood, as they have shed during this entire period. MP Ishkhan Saghatelyan told reporters during a march in central Yerevan, responding to a remark that the authorities do not exclude to open fire if demonstrators enter state buildings.
"My request is to put everything aside, it's a matter of being or not being, it's not time for ambition, naming each other. We have to save Armenia, the change of power is not an end in itself, Artsakh is dying today, they came here and are not helping, people like Andranik Kocharyan must answer," he said, referring to the MP of the ruling party.
Saghatelyan mentioned that the purpose of these protests is to create a dual power in the country: "Either there will be a change of power, or we will lose Armenia."
He said he is also convinced that if this situation continues, “we will soon witness the surrender of national forces to the enemy".
"Nikol and Aliyev are saying the same thing ․․․ we are losing the state, that person is only handing over. We come to protect the borders of Armenia, to preserve the sovereignty, but they are cursing the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia," he said.
