Nagorno-Karabakh has denied allegations that they burn state documents so that they do not end up at the hands of Azerbaijanis.

In a statement, the Information headquarters of Artsakh said:

“Due to the long-term blockade and a number of problems that arose as a result of military operations, it is not possible to organize garbage collection in Stepanakert.

Under these conditions, residents in different parts of the city have to burn the generated garbage to avoid unsanitary conditions as much as possible.

Rumors circulating on the Internet by some users alleging that documents are being burnt are not true.”
