Russian peacekeeping troops are actively engaged in providing humanitarian assistance to the civilian population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). According to information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, there are currently 826 civilians, including 440 children, under the care and protection of Russian peacekeeping forces. The Ministry of Defense stated, "Russian peacekeeping forces maintain continuous communication with both Baku and Stepanakert, with a focus on preventing violence, ensuring security, upholding the humanitarian rights of civilians, and safeguarding the well-being of Russian peacekeepers."
The military also announced their successful delivery of humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Artsakh. They reported that they have transported more than 50 tons of essential cargo to Stepanakert through the efforts of Russian peacekeepers.
