Today, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) sent about 70 tons of humanitarian aid to the population of [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh through the [Berdzor] Lachin Corridor, Zara Amatuni, Communication and Prevention Program Manager of the ICRC in Armenia, said in an interview with Lurer.

According to her, the bulk of the cargo consists of flour and essential ingredients needed for baking bread.

Amatuni also added that yesterday through the organization, 9 injured people were transferred to local hospitals in Nagorno-Karabakh.

“After the hostilities on September 19, our organization was able to deliver food to the local population for the first time. At the same time, I can say that our teams are working, discussing with decision makers issues related to various needs and the possibility of repeating such assistance,” she concluded.
