The strong explosion that took place in the fuel tank in the area adjacent to the Stepanakert-Askeran highway, has killed and injured dozens, the State Service of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh reported.

“There was a strong explosion in the gasoline tank near the Stepanakert-Askeran roadway.

Now, rescue and medical operative groups are working on the spot.

There are casualties and wounded. Many injured people were taken to medical facilities.

Information about the details of the incident will be published later," the press release said.
