Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan received US Senator Gary Peters Monday. The Foreign Ministry of Armenia reports.

The Deputy Minister highly appreciated Senator Peters' visit to Armenia in a difficult situation for the Armenian people and emphasized the importance of U.S. support in overcoming the challenges facing Armenia.

 On his part, during the meeting, the American senator expressed concern over the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.

During the meeting, the they also spoke about the existing close cooperation between Armenia and the United States in the context of strengthening democracy, effective implementation of reforms, and multi-sectoral cooperation.
