France will send medical equipent to Armenia to provide first aid to those who suffered injuries from the gasoline explosion in Stepanakert, and provide 7 million euros in to overcome the social needs of those forcibly displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh.

At a meeting with Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan, the French ambassador Armenia Olivier Decottignies also emphasized the importance of overcoming the humanitarian crisis.

Minister Narek Mkrtchyan, referring to the work aimed at supporting forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh, presented the steps implemented by the ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. He also highly appreciated the role of France for standing by Armenia in difficult situations and providing necessary assistance.

At the end of the meeting, the they expressed readiness to continue active cooperation in the direction of the settlement of existing problems in the field of social protection.
