At the moment, the situation in the border areas of Armenia is relatively stable, the Ministry of Defense is closely following the dynamics of changes in this situation, and in case of any changes, as before, as now, we will immediately inform the public through our news service. Arman Sargsyan, Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, told this to reporters in the National Assembly Friday.
"At this moment, I would not like to give additional information, I would ask to be content with the latest data, including during the government session and also with the data published by us. We should not forget that Armenia has already found itself in a border zone with Azerbaijan along almost the entire border, and if there is [military] buildup, it applies to all sectors—one place more, one place less. The important thing is that at the moment the border situation is relatively stable, and no trend of tension, conflict is observed at least at this moment," Sargsyan noted.
