
Azerbaijanis have abducted and arrested Davit Manukyan, the former first deputy commander of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army, who is the brother of MP Gegham Manukyan of the opposition Armenia Faction of the National Assembly of Armenia.
Later, the State Security Service of Azerbaijan announced that Davit Manukyan is a suspect under the Azerbaijani Criminal Code articles on "terrorism by an organized group," "illegal acquisition and storage of firearms, their components, ammunition, explosive materials and devices," "creation of armed formations and groups not provided for by law," and "illegal crossing of the state border."
Azerbaijani media report that Davit Manukyan has been imprisoned for four months.
According to the already confirmed data, Levon Mnatsakanyan, former commander of Artsakh Defense Army, and Ruben Vardanyan, former Minister of State of Artsakh, also have been abducted and arrested by Azerbaijan.
