Armenia has asked the European Union for help in taking care of refugees arriving from [Artsakh] Nagorno-Karabakh, the Italian Prime Minister's Office stated on Saturday, Reuters reports.
“Armenia has appealed to the EU for temporary asylum and medical supplies,” the PM's Office said.
According to the statement, Rome is “working to promote stabilization in the region.”
