The UN mission has arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh this morning, Azerbaijani media report.

The members of the mission left for Askeran-Stepanakert via Aghdam.

"The aim of the mission is to get to know the situation on the spot and determine the humanitarian needs of the residents.

The mission includes representatives of various UN agencies," the report says.

The last time the UN mission came to Karabakh about 30 years ago, reports the Azerbaijani APA periodical.
