The flow of forcibly displaced people from Artsakh to Armenia has almost stopped, Vardan Sargsyan, representative of the working group for resolving humanitarian crises in Nagorno-Karabakh, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
Vardan Sargsyan noted that the number of people in shelters provided by the government has increased.
"These shelters are temporary, although there are places that can later become longer-term. There has not been a person applying for residence who was not provided with a place to stay," he said.
The problems related to single elderly and disabled people transferred from Artsakh are solved by providing them with special care places through the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Vardan Sargsyan mentioned that he has no information about the visit of the UN mission to Artsakh and cannot say anything about it.
