Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during a speech in parliament, described the ethnic cleansing, extermination and mass exodus of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh as “the triumph of justice.”
According to him, “after 30 years of occupation, Karabakh, which is the internationally recognized territory of Azerbaijan, was liberated and the justice triumphed,” Anadolu reports.
In this regard, the Turkish President said that Ankara has established itself in the international arena “as a reliable partner.”
“All our brothers, from Karabakh to Libya, from Syria to Somalia, know very well how valuable and important Turkey’s friendship is. There is no country or society or structure that would pursue a hostile policy towards Turkey and ultimately benefit from it,” he said.
