Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, commented on the establishment of the "Zangezur corridor."

"This work is being carried out within the framework of the co-chairmanship of the deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia. The project of restoring the transport route connecting Azerbaijan with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through the Syunik Province of Armenia is being discussed. In the implementation of this project, we see a significant potential for progress towards the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Baku. And, of course, everything depends on the political will of the countries and the readiness to reach concrete agreements," said the official representative of the Russian MFA.
