The seismological network of Armenia on Monday recorded an earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.3, in Iran, at 10:05am local time, 31 kilometers southeast of Khoy city, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The tremor measured magnitude 5 to 6 at the epicenter, the Rescue Service of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The seismic activity was felt also in Kapan, Kajaran, Meghri, and Agarak cities of Armenia’s Syunik Province.
