Canada has opened its embassy in Armenia.

The Canadian national flag was raised during the official opening ceremony of this embassy in Yerevan.

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly was on hand at the event.

Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan also attended the opening ceremony.
