YEREVAN. - NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange made no purchase/sale transactions on Monday. No one purchased the U.S. dollar at the AMD 378/$1 exchange rate.

Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) managed to pay off the rush demand for U.S. dollar based on small interventions. It was resulted by the exclusive exchange rate of AMD 378.49/$1. Sales totaled $6.9 million, which CBA sold at AMD 378.5/$1.

The average exchange rate made AMD 376/$1 on Monday, while it was AMD 376.5/$1 on Friday. Exchange offices sold U.S. dollar at the rate of AMD 378/$1.
