Police clashed with the protestors during the anti-U.S. rally in Tehran. The protestors took the streets to mark the 30th anniversary of the capture of U.S. Embassy in Iran, The Jerusalem Post reports, referring to Israeli radio.

“There were also reports of Iranian security forces firing tear gas canisters at protesting students,” the daily says.

According to the source, police had warned oppositionists not to hold rally.
