YEREVAN. – Salary for the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) employees was increased by 10%.

It was decided to increase the NPP operative staff salary by 10%, press service of Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“NPP reconstruction and recharging works, started on September 11, are already completed. Currently testing process is on. Afterwards the plant will join the energetic system earlier than scheduled,” press service informs.

Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier informed that 158 NPP employees claimed for raising the salary. The salary ranges AMD 145,000-443,000 ($390-1,200) depending on the type of work.

NPP stopped producing energy on September 11 and conducted reconstruction. It will start working again on October 27.
