Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets of London to call for a ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian group Hamas, PA Media reported.
The marchers held placards reading "Free Palestine" and "End the siege."
Some protesters chanted, "One, two, three, four, no more occupation, five, six, seven, eight, Israel is a terrorist state."
They also chanted the scandalous slogan, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."
An exclusion zone was imposed, prohibiting any protesters from gathering around the Israeli embassy.
London police said a man was arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated disorderly conduct.
Britain chose to abstain from voting on a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. The US vetoed the resolution.
