The rescuers brought out two dead bodies—of a man and of a woman—from the rubble of the collapse site in Yerevan. The press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, Narek Sargsyan, informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.
At 11:36am Monday, the National Center for Crisis Management was reported that an explosion had occurred in Yerevan's Nor Aresh neighborhood.
A collapse had occurred as a result of this explosion.
The rescuers who were dispatched to the scene took out elderly woman R. N. (born in 1938) and young man H. S. (born in 1994) from the rubble, and they were hospitalized. The doctors say the elderly woman is in satisfactory condition, whereas the young man—in severe condition.
And those gathered at the scene had told Armenian News-NEWS.am that a married couple who lived there on rent also were under the rubble.
