Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Stefano Tomat, Civilian Operations Commander  of the European External Action Service (EEAS) of the European Union (EU).

The premier welcomed Tomat's visit to Armenia, and highlighted the activities of the EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia along the border with Azerbaijan, the PM's office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. He noted that the effective activities of this mission contribute to ensuring peace and stability in the region.

PM Pashinyan and Stefano Tomat reflected also on the results of this EU monitoring mission and its future activities.

In addition, both sides emphasized the importance of the continuous development of Armenia-EU multi-sectoral cooperation.
