Armenia's position is that the border guard troops of Armenia should fully perform the service at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan. Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, told this to reporters at the National Assembly Wednesday.

"Armenia has a clear position on this matter, and it has informed Russia about it with an official letter," Grigoryan added.

And to the question why this matter arose now, the secretary of the Security Council responded: "At the period of independence, Armenia is acquiring capabilities in various directions. At this moment, Armenia has full capability to exercise full overseeing at the airport."
