Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reflected on Armenia's official statement on the withdrawal of Russian border guards from the capital Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport—and which was discussed by the secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan.

The border guard troops of Armenia sent a letter to the border guard troops of the Russian Federation in Armenia, thanked [them] for providing service and providing security at Zvartnots airport, for the support and services provided in border control since Armenia's independence [in 1991], and informed that since the state institutions in our country are developing , during that entire period, including with the support of Russian partners, the border guard service of Armenia, particularly at Zvartnots airport, has already acquired sufficient experience, skills, and capabilities to carry out border guard control at Zvartnots without the assistance of the Russian side, Pashinyan said at Tuesday’s press conference.

"This is the content of the letter," he added.
