YEREVAN. – Classic marketing specialist Phillip Kotler decided to return Armenia again, Kotler said on Monday at the meeting with Armenian and regional representatives of small and medium businesses as well as marketing employees of major companies.
“My visit to Armenia has just started but I am sure that I will return,” he said.
A total of 500 people, including Iranian and Georgian representatives, were present at the meeting.
“The shortest definition of the newly formed science is the following: get profit by satisfying needs. That is you offer something, which the consumer needs. Marketing is a new science, though it found its reflection even in the Bible history of Eve and forbidden fruit,” Kotler said and added that housewives and house communities are one of the serious potentials to sell the product and service.
Kotler’s new conception Marketing 3.0 assumes that marketing should study and relate the strategy of the company with people’s preferences. According to him, social networks create wide opportunities to establish contact with consumers.
