Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was planning to visit Armenia on Sunday, but the visit was postponed at the last moment, a source told TASS news agency.

In particular, Raisi was expected to participate in the opening of a transport corridor in Armenia on Sunday. The news agency, however, do not elaborate on what kind of transport corridor it is about.

Raisi had visited Iran's East Azerbaijan Province Sunday morning, and met with the president of Azerbaijan and participated in an event at the border.
