Sargis Khandanyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Armenia, together with several other MPs, on Monday met with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Brandon Yoder, who serves in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.

Khandanyan emphasized the dynamic development of Armenia-US relations, which covers many domains of mutual interest, and stressed that there is a great potential for development in the relations between the two countries. Yoder, for his part, expressed his conviction that the US relations with Armenia will develop and strengthen.

The MPs presented the reforms being implemented in Armenia's law enforcement and judicial system, and thanked the American side for its continuous support to these reforms. Regional security issues were also discussed.
