At the meeting with the president of Azerbaijan, the president of Belarus said what I have been trying to say to the Republic of Armenia for four years. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during the question-and-answer session with the government, at the National Assembly of Armenia, Wednesday.

"[Belarusian President Alexander] Lukashenko said it right. I had enough until I got him to say it publicly. I am glad that I was able to get him to say this publicly. I will continue these attempts; there are still people who have yet to say this publicly.

The president of Belarus said what I have been trying to say to the Republic of Armenia for four years. Not on our side have our allies participated in preparations for the 44-day war in 2020. I know at least two CSTO countries that participated in the preparations for war against us. Those countries created an imitation that they want to help us, or they allegedly helped us. But I want to say that that war was not even about Nagorno-Karabakh; they have closed the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh among themselves for a long time.

That war was about the non-expectations of the Republic of Armenia. The goal of that war was the non-existence of the independent state of the Republic of Armenia. On November 9, 2020 and after that, that non-expectation was not fulfilled, then they tried in May 2021, when the National Assembly and the government [of Nagorno-Karabakh] were dissolved, it still didn't work, they tried in September 202—it didn't work, then they tried in September 2023, when people were called on social networks to go against the elected government, etc., which again did not succeed, they tried again on May 9, 2024, which did not succeed again and will not succeed again," Pashinyan noted.

He stated that with border delimitation, Armenia has deprived many of the opportunity to provoke border clashes simultaneous to May 9.

"I consider [border] delimitation a turning point for the history of the Republic of Armenia. I have said: we managed to keep our state for one or two years, we guarantee the existence of our state for the next 50 to 100 years. We have fulfilled 60 percent of that task with this delimitation process," said the Armenian premier.
