The Russian president's staff is not prohibited from traveling abroad, but travel to unfriendly countries is ruled, as it poses a risk, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"I am going abroad, yes—I am going. No, we don't have any restrictions. There are some departments where there are prohibitions. But, of course, any trip to unfriendly countries is absolutely excluded, as it is simply risky," said Peskov.
