The spokesperson of the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Foreign Affairs (RA MFA), in response to Radar's inquiry, reflected on the statement by Elchin Amirbekov, an Azerbaijani presidential envoy for special assignments, about the "Zangezur corridor."

Amirbekov had announced that by mutual agreement, they have decided to remove clause on reopening of regional communications from the peace treaty to be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan and move the respective discussion to a later stage.

The Armenian MFA press spokesperson notes as follows in this regard: "With this consent, unblocking [of regional communications] remains an important part of the RA vision of peace and economic development, reflected in the Crossroads of Peace program, based on sovereignty, jurisdiction, reciprocity and equality."
