More than 600 buildings have been destroyed by a large fire in California, which has been named the Park Fire, reports the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE).
The area of the fire is now 426,528 acres (172,610 hectares), with 636 structures destroyed and 49 damaged in two counties, said the department.
CAL FIRE reported earlier that the fire covered more than 156,000 hectares and destroyed 277 buildings in two counties of this US state.
