The Russian army hit Lviv, Ukraine with rockets early Wednesday morning, and there are casualties and injuries, including children, local authorities report.

The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovoy, said that as a result of the Russian strikes on the city, residential buildings in the area of the main station caught fire, and the windows of many buildings in the area were broken.
"According to preliminary information, 19 people have been injured in Lviv as of now as a result of the enemy's attack. Unfortunately, one person died,” reads, in particular, the statement by the local district military department.
Later, a statement appeared on the OVA channel that another person had died.
According to the mayor of Lviv, as a result of the attack on the city, at least 17 people were injured; including two children aged 10 and 15. Fifteen adults were hospitalized, and five patients are in severe condition, Sadovoy writes.
