Customs control and border control functions should be in full, sovereign; Armenia is ready to continue discussing and has that wish. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan announced this while speaking with reporters at the National Assembly of Armenia Monday—and referring to the topic of unblocking of regional communications.

"The forces of a third country will not carry out a security function on the territory of our country," added Grigoryan.

As for Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that the Russian side can only monitor the motorway connecting Azerbaijan to its Nakhichevan exclave, which can be carried out remotely as well, Mher Grigoryan said: “It depends on the purpose of why it's being done.
