By the decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Davit Khudatyan has been appointed Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.

Khudatyan was appointed to this position based on the recommendation by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan—and in accordance with the constitution of Armenia and the  law on the structure and functioning of the Armenian government.

Khudatyan, 33, is the godson of PM Pashinyan. Until 2018, he worked in various credit organizations. And after Pashinyan came to power in 2018, he was appointed acting mayor of Armavir city, then was elected mayor. And on January 11, 2024, he was appointed the Governor of Armavir Province.

Pashinyan on Monday announced that he had asked a group of senior officials to resign. And then Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, was also among the officials who submitted their resignations.
