Stepantsminda-Lars highway was closed for heavy trucks due to weather conditions. It has just become known that the checkpoint was also closed to passenger vehicles.

“According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all types of vehicles,” the rescue service of the Armenian Interior Ministry said.
