The activities of the Ministry of Defense of Russia are aimed at ensuring full preparation for a possible military conflict with NATO in the coming decade, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov stated, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, the decisions of NATO summit and the doctrinal documents prove that such a conflict is possible.

"The losses of the armed forces of Ukraine in 2024 exceeded 560,000 killed and wounded soldiers; nearly a million people since the beginning of the Northern Military District," added the Russian defense minister.
