MOSCOW. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on working visit in Moscow, participated in the CSTO Collective Security Council session on Tuesday.

The session launched with the narrow format of meeting of the heads of the CSTO member states. The meeting was followed by an expanded format, presidential press service informs Armenian

CSTO presidency has passed from Belarus to Kazakhstan.

The heads signed 23 joint documents regarding improvement of collective security system, enlargement of the organization potential, as well as deepening of military and military-economic cooperation.

CSTO charter was amended, aiming to strengthen domestic institution of the organization.

Armenian President will participate in the heads of the CIS member states session following the CSTO Collective Security Council session.
