The search operation for the missing Ismail Adir, who had attempted to cross the Turkish-Armenian border with three friends but had fallen into the Arax River and disappeared, has begun in Igdir, Turkey, TGRT Haber reports.
Unable to contact Adir, his friends had notified the Turkish law enforcement.
Law enforcement and rescuers have arrived at the scene to search for the 28-year-old.
Adir, who allegedly fell into the Arax River while crossing the border, is being searched in and around the river.
