Israeli Air Force helicopters have struck several refugee prefabricated houses near the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, the Lebanon 24 news portal reports.

The attack destroyed at least four temporary shelters.

There were casualties among civilians, the number of whom is being determined.

Earlier, five people were injured in an Israeli drone strike on refugee prefabricated houses in the border town of Houla.

A Lebanese security source told the aforesaid portal that Israeli aircraft on Monday carried out at least six strikes on suspected facilities and weapons depots of the Shiite Hezbollah organization in several mountainous areas along the border with Syria.

Airstrikes were carried out also on the settlements of Aitaroun and Srifa, where Shiite fighters previously had bases.

Also artillery fire was opened on the outskirts of the city of Ayta ash-Shaab. No information about casualties has been reported.
