PARIS. – The French government plans to accelerate adoption of the bill penalizing denial of genocides. Ministers intend to include the issue in the Senate’s agenda late in January, Radio Liberty reports.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed that French National Assembly had passed the bill on Dec 22 last year. After the adoption, Turkey recalled its Ambassador from Paris and declared to apply penalties of 8 points against France.
