MOSCOW. – There is no need to expect normalization of the diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey in the first half of 2012, Russian expert Aleksandr Karavaev told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“If Yerevan continues to pursue the doctrine of historic policy putting the issue of the 1915 genocide in the focus of the modern relations, nothing will happen. Generally, all the history of the Armenian foreign policy connected to the genocide deteriorates the current international relations instead of settling them,” he stated.
