YEREVAN. – Consultation of Armenian MOD central staff was held Monday, during which Minister Seyran Ohanyan presented the Armenian Armed Forces’ key challenges and tasks for 2012.
As key challenge for 2012, Ohanyan pointed to military education, military industry, and raising discipline in the Armed Forces. The Minister also thanked those MOD and Armed Forces staff members, whose proper service resulted in the Armed Forces’ successes in the year past.
Seyran Ohanyan also highly evaluated the activities of MOD Standing Professional Committee, and awarded the Marshal Baghramyan Medal to its Chairman and Defense Minister’s advisor, Vahram Barseghyan, MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
